Very helpful staff and everything OK. Think when calling to make appointments and patients should not have to give reasons for appointments think and feel this is private and confidential to patient and GP.

The receptionist this morning when I called, Gillian, was very rude and always is, maybe more training would be helpful in dealing with the public! I hate phoning this practice now because of this. I must say all the doctors and nurses are exceptional when you get an appointment, it's just the receptionists that are crap.

This practice is becoming a joke. Firstly the appointment system changes so you cant actually make an appointment until you wait for a doctor to ring you and even then you may not get one. Now they have pushed out annual medicine reviews to pharmacists for them to conduct, who don't have access to your medical record so are certainly not best placed to do this. Is it all the NHS that is now completely broken or is it just this practice that is being managed so badly it is not fit for purpose?

Trying to get an appointment here is like trying to get blood out of a stone (maybe the rude receptionists can, because they think they know the patient charter guidelines, NOT!). Better off going to cuedoc. Have been trying to get my child to see doctor for the past few days was told by the receptionist that it mustn't be that bad if my child(11 mths old) has had a cough that has made her vomit on numerous occasions for the past 4 weeks yet there is a video in the reception room that states f you have had a cough for more than 3 weeks to see your doctor straight away. Was told doctor would call the first time (No call back) the second time was told all appointment slots were filled the third I'm still awaiting a call back. Maybe instead of trying to merge all the doctors in North Carlisle into one they should try and recruit more Doctors and also better Receptionists who actually know what they are talking about.
